Chiral Phase Transitions
نویسنده
چکیده
We show that melting the quark mass, the scalar σ mass and the quark condensate leads uniquely to the quark-level SU(2) linear σ model field theory. Upon thermalization, the chiral phase transition curve requires Tc = 2f CL π ≈ 180 MeV when μ = 0, while the critical chemical potential is μc = mq ≈ 325 MeV . Transition to the superconductive phase occurs at T (SC) c = ∆/πe−γE . Coloured diquarks suggest T (SC) c < 180 MeV . Diquarks may play an important role in hadronic physics particularly near the phase transitions (chiral, deconfinement points). By using vector diquark ideas in the chiral limit diquark correlations in the relativistic region and imposing HF interactions between quarks in a vector diquark, we calculate the mass of Theta pentaquark state. Also by using the tunnelling method we simultaneously c...
متن کاملRelation between color-deconfinement and chiral restoration
Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) is believed to undergo phase transitions from hadronic matter to a quark-gluon plasma (QGP) at high temperature. The QGP phase transitions can consist of two distinct transitions – the deconfinement transition and the chiral phase transition. Several theoretical studies [1] have clarified that confinement would be closely related to chiral dynamics and the confined ...
متن کاملTowards the chiral critical surface of QCD
The critical endpoint of the QCD phase diagram is usually expected to belong to the chiral critical surface, i.e. the surface of second order transitions bounding the region of first order chiral phase transitions for small quark masses in the {mu,d,ms, μ} parameter space. For μ = 0, QCD with physical quark masses is known to be an analytic crossover, requiring the region of chiral transitions ...
متن کاملTowards a determination of the chiral critical surface of QCD
The chiral critical surface is a surface of second order phase transitions bounding the region of first order chiral phase transitions for small quark masses in the {mu,d,ms,μ} parameter space. The potential critical endpoint of the QCD (T,μ)-phase diagram is widely expected to be part of this surface. Since for μ = 0 with physical quark masses QCD is known to exhibit an analytic crossover, thi...
متن کاملRelation between the Chiral and Deconfinement Phase Transitions
Lattice QCD simulations at finite temperature have shown that the chiral phase transition in the chiral limit and the deconfinement phase transition in the quenched limit are continuously connected. I emphasize the nontriviality of this result and propose an unconventional scenario which naturally explains the existing lattice data. The continuity of the two phase transitions is a manifestation...
متن کاملTernary Phase Diagram Modeling of Chiral Medetomidine Salts Using NRTL-SAC Model
Experimental determination of solubility and ternary phase diagram of chiral compound are of tedious and time consuming tasks, and in many cases, there is not enough experimental data for different enantiomeric compositions to access the experimental ternary phase diagram. Using thermodynamic models with predictive capability, having less dependency on experimental data, affords a great advanta...
